Reported by Cindy Piskorowski, Michigan, USA

WOW!  With my 43”, 45lb Lake Trout, I have bragging rights for a long time. (forever).

Streamside Seminars dental seminar at Wolf Lake Wilderness Lodge in Yukon , Canada far surpassed my expectations.  The flight over to the lodge was worth the trip.  The scenery through the mountain and over the lakes and rivers was spectacular.  The cabins were warm and comfortable.  Wes and Michelle Walker are not only great hosts, they are phenomenal chefs as well.

This was a business/family trip for me.  My husband and I brought our 12 year old daughter, Kayla.  We would do the seminar after breakfast in the lodge.  With his teaching background, Bill is always on the cutting edge of new products and techniques and welcomes any questions.  Nice job Bill.

After the seminar, we headed out to do what we called the “Yukon Grand Slam”.  The “YGS” consisted of catching a lake trout, grayling, red finned lake trout, and pike.  Yes, we were all successful, and our fish get bigger every time we talk about it.

One of Kayla’s favorite experiences was watching a mother moose and her two babies, feed while we were pike fishing.  Great wildlife viewing!  One of my favorite times was our fresh-catch shore-lunch with our whole group.  We had people from Michigan , Texas , Canada , and Sweden .  Our group caught over 100 Grayling in a day in the beautiful Wolf River .   The food and company were unsurpassed.

Thank you to the Michigan and Texan dentists and spouses that participated.  It was great to meet such wonderful people.  I believe a good time was had by all.  With all the “ehs” from the Canadians and the “Y’alls” from the Texans, I think we have developed a new language.
